Understanding HubMetrics, Traffic Sources and Groups when Writing on HubPages
HubMetrics
You can see the statistics on each individual article if you go to one particular article and click on Stats at the top of the page. Click on Keywords and you will see the words people have used to find your article. Click on HubMetrics and you will be able to see a wealth of information. First is the Word Count, which is the number of words in your article. Second comes Revenue Potential from 1 to 5 $ signs. This is the amount that HubPages thinks your article will earn. 5 $’s means it has the best potential for earning the maximum money. The number of stars from 1 to 5 shows how many IncomingLinks, or backlinks point to your article. View Duration is also measured in stars, and that is how long people remain on your article. If your article is not interesting to read, you will see only 1 star, but if many people read your article for a long time, you will see 5 stars...
You can also see the date this article was First Published and a short URL.

Groups
If you put your article in a group you can see links to your other articles, just above the comments capsule. These are articles you have put in the same group, using the Groups link on your my accounts page. You can choose if you want the title of that group shown or not by clicking on the check mark when you edit your groups.
To start with, all hubs are called orphan hubs until you assign them a category. You click and drag to put your article in each category. You can also click and drag to rearrange the order of the articles. When you’ve reassigned a category, click on save changes.
If all your articles are all on one topic, you can just form one group.
